The Learning & Development Consultant will manage the design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs and learning solutions with a focus on developing and strengthening SullivanCotter’s workforce, including assessing employee and firm needs, designing effective learning and performance solutions, and evaluating programs and processes to support a culture of continuous learning.


PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design, implement and evaluate engaging learning and development programs that support the firm’s objectives and align with the firm’s strategic plan
  • Consult with internal business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand learning and career development needs, and provide effective recommendations, process improvements or organizational solutions
  • Develop learning solutions using a variety of blended learning methods (e.g., Virtual-ILT, eLearning, simulations, video, microlearning and performance support tools)
  • Coordinate new associate orientation, leader development programs and other firmwide learning initiatives, which may include facilitation, logistics, communications, and evaluation
  • Provide support and analysis for engagement survey, performance management and talent development cycles
  • Provide guidance and support to SMEs who deliver training and content to clients and employees to ensure alignment with adult learning principles and overall continuous learning strategy
  • Assist in developing, tracking and reporting key metrics to show learning and performance program impact
  • Participate yearly in defining firm-wide curriculum planning and team learning and development needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in learning and development, organizational or instructional design, adult learning or related field or equivalent industry experience
  • A minimum of 5 years learning and development experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design principles, learning solutions, adult learning theory and program evaluation
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in content authoring software and LMS software such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Docebo, Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone Learning, etc.
  • Aptitude for learning and implementing new technologies
  • Strong consulting skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, functional team leaders and SMEs to assess needs and recommend solutions that support the Firm’s business strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex project deliverables in a fast-paced work and industry environment
  • Master’s Degree in Learning and Performance, Adult Learning, Organizational/Instructional Design or related field preferred
  • Experience with key performance management and related learning assessments (e.g., performance management, 360 assessments) preferred
  • Experience with behavioral and psychometric assessments a plus (e.g., CliftonStrengths, MBTI, DISC)
  • Leadership and management program development a plus

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $64,509 – $96,763
