Demand for APPs, as well as an increase in salaries for this group, continues to rise. The 2022 Advanced Practice Provider Compensation and Productivity Survey provides the tools to systematically track and benchmark changes in this area, which in turn helps organizations in managing strategic and financial planning for continued growth and success.
More than 690 health systems, hospitals and physician group practices participated in the survey, representing over 100,690 certified anesthesiologist assistants, certified nurse midwives, CRNAs, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, with data effective January 1, 2022. Not only does the survey provide base pay and cash compensation data for APPs, but it also includes data for pay practices such as on-call pay, pay for extra shifts and shift differentials, incentive plan design and supplemental benefits.
