The Agile Delivery Manager will lead and manage a high-performing delivery team for our products. The role will be a blend of soft and technical skills to get the most out of teams and ensure projects meet deadlines and budget constraints. You will be responsible for maintaining success metrics to evaluate overall delivery and hold accountability for business commitments. It will be imperative for the Agile Delivery Manager to work hands-on with employees to have an in-depth understanding of our products, projects, and processes. This role will report to the Director of Program and Product Management.


PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive the agile delivery process and roles for our product delivery teams, managing the scope and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery within budget
  • Gain a keen understanding of individual strengths and team styles
  • Manage the day-to-day duties of the team and have a player/coach approach to management with a willingness to take on projects and get into the details
  • Expand the existing team of product owners, scrum masters and business systems analysts as needed
  • Develop and continuously improve the delivery practice methodologies/frameworks, processes and toolsets creating consistency and efficiencies across agile delivery teams
  • Bring and seek best practices and innovation from internal and external sources that can improve efficiencies for our external and internal clients
  • Strong understanding of managing budgets and financial impacts of decisions
  • Model behaviors for building and fostering a collaborative work environment that improves employee engagement and attracts and retains valued contributors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT delivery and agile methodologies which was gained through hands-on complex projects and leadership
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience directly managing people with proven ability to effectively lead, coach, consult with and advise individuals and teams
  • Successful experience with hiring, growing, and scaling teams
  • Experience with owning budgets successfully
  • Expert knowledge of end-to-end project delivery and solution delivery lifecycles and methodologies, including an understanding of Business Analysis, Project Management, Agile/Scrum, Software Development, Architecture, Infrastructure, Operations and DevOps practices
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project/process management tools is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with experience in presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrates experience in designing and running training sessions on practice-relevant topics
  • Advanced investigational skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is preferred, where HIPAA policies and procedures are enforced is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines OR equivalent experience

Reflected below is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

  • $127,000 – $212,000
