Kevin Wilson is a Managing Principal at SullivanCotter. With more than 20 years as a consultant, Kevin is a recognized leader in the health care industry with a track record of advising large, employed medical groups and complex health systems. His counsel helps organizations achieve strategic alignment and improved performance in the wake of change initiatives and M&A transactions.

His experience includes:

  • Working with boards and physician leaders to design, implement and communicate effective physician compensation, attraction and retention strategies to ensure equity across specialties and align behaviors with performance drivers.
  • Developing compensation practices for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) that adapt competitively to new payment and care delivery models, as well as advance the relationship between organizations and their providers.
  • Evaluating merger opportunities, designing acquisition strategies and conducting due diligence to promote successful business and provider integration in a consolidating industry.
  • Establishing governance models that drive seamless and fair decision-making and oversight of compensation for multifaceted provider groups.
  • Facilitating fair market value compliance evaluations and assisting in the valuation of professional service agreements.

Before joining SullivanCotter, Kevin held a senior leadership role at a specialized, global professional services firm.

Kevin is a certified valuation analyst as designated by The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He has authored “How Trustees Can Improve Alignment by Overseeing Physician Compensation” and “Selecting Value-Based Metrics for Physician Enterprise Success” in Trustee Magazine, June 7, 2016, and BoardRoom Press, August 2016, respectively.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
