Scott Whitman is the Director of Talent Acquisition for SullivanCotter. He leverages many years of experience in talent management and acquisition to help the firm develop and drive its overall recruitment strategy in an unprecedented market for talent.

His experience includes:

  • Assisting leaders in talent needs assessments and talent evaluation
  • Executing proactive sourcing engagements to identify and hire top talent
  • Running efficient, inclusive, and effective recruitment processes
  • Generating a pipeline of future talent for the firm by leading a best-in-class campus recruiting and early careers program
  • Supporting the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by assembling diverse candidate pools
  • Contributing expertise to internal career mobility and growth initiatives
  • Advising firm leadership on labor market trends and talent management best practices

Prior to joining SullivanCotter, Scott served as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition for a Fortune 250 financial services firm. In this role he led both national and international recruiting teams and was also responsible for the firm’s extensive campus recruiting program. Scott has also held senior leadership roles in recruiting for financial services and information services companies.

Scott earned a BBA degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
