National APP Advisory Council Meeting

Please join us for the third annual meeting!

This meeting brings together top advanced practice provider (APP) leaders from around the country to focus on the evolving role of APPs and spark discussion about new trends, performance drivers and leading practices. Participants have the opportunity to learn from their peers in a variety of ways including case study presentations, panel discussions, structured exercises and informal networking opportunities built into this two-day session.

This meeting will focus on the latest APP utilization, engagement, leadership structures and productivity data from SullivanCotter's proprietary survey collection.

Facilitated by SullivanCotter, the Advisory Council meeting will provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion and group dialogue on the following APP topics:

  • Productivity and impact
  • Leadership structures
  • Retention and engagement strategies
  • Team-based care and compensation models
  • Using data to drive change and performance

Postgraduate Institute for Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 6.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Who Should Attend?

NAAC members who are responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the APP workforce. Please note: One person from each organization is welcome to attend. This activity is intended for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) engaged in care of patients in all care settings.

What is the National APP Advisory Council?

SullivanCotter's National APP Advisory Council focuses on the emerging role of the advanced practice provider. It guides the development of tools, solutions, data collection and other resources needed by leaders to assess and optimize the APP workforce. The purpose of the Council is to:

  • Create unique platforms to facilitate networking, discussion and ideation
  • Identify leading practices, emerging trends, performance drivers and common barriers
  • Offer ongoing networking and learning opportunities
  • Provide early access to new thinking, models, products and data
  • Cultivate a community of progressive health care leaders committed to helping shape the evolving:
    • Health care environment
    • Models of care
    • Infrastructure needed to support the APP workforce
