This meeting brings together top advanced practice provider (APP) leaders from around the country to focus on the evolving role of APPs and spark discussion about new trends, performance drivers and leading practices. Participants have the opportunity to learn from their peers in a variety of ways, including case studies, panel discussions, structured exercises and informal networking opportunities that have been built into this year's meeting.

The focus for the upcoming event will be on using data and insights to drive change.

During this meeting facilitated by SullivanCotter, we will:

  • Discuss strategies to help improve access
  • Share market data on APP utilization, employment structures and organizational practices
  • Review literature related to the APP workforce
  • Learn directly from other NAAC organizations
  • Network with peers and inform the development of new tools and solutions that will impact your work and your leadership role

Who Should Attend?

Two people from each member organization are welcome to attend. Note that your registration is not considered final until confirmed by SullivanCotter. Additional attendee requests will be placed on a waitlist and admitted on a first-come, first-served basis if spots open up.

This meeting is intended for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Physician Assistant (PA) leaders who are responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the APP workforce.

New this year...

In addition to the two people mentioned above, one physician executive partner from each member organization will be welcome to attend the half-day session and networking reception on Wednesday, May 7. The remainder of the annual meeting will be exclusively for APP Leaders.


Continuing Medical Education

Continuing education credits will be offered for this year's event.
Additional details will be available once finalized.


Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be submitted by Tuesday, April 15 in order to receive a refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a credit after this date. Substitutions are welcome and will not incur a processing fee. Cancellation requests should be sent to info@sullivancotter.com.

What is the National APP Advisory Council?

SullivanCotter's National APP Advisory Council focuses on the emerging role of the advanced practice provider. It guides the development of tools, solutions, data collection and other resources needed by leaders to assess and optimize the APP workforce. The purpose of the Council is to:

  • Create unique platforms to facilitate networking, discussion and ideation
  • Identify leading practices, emerging trends, performance drivers and common barriers
  • Offer ongoing networking and learning opportunities
  • Provide early access to new thinking, models, products and data
  • Cultivate a community of progressive health care leaders committed to helping shape the evolving:
    • Health care environment
    • Models of care
    • Infrastructure needed to support the APP workforce
