SullivanCotter Managing Principal Kim Mobley and Associate General Counsel Robert Gerberry of Summa Health System spoke on the topic of "Fiduciary Oversight in a Complex Health Care Environment: What Every Board Should Know" at the Center for Healthcare Governance's upcoming winter symposium.

This session addressed the increasing importance of the board’s role in fiduciary oversight in a complex health care environment. Current and emerging marketplace issues related to physician alignment, ACOs and independent physicians were also discussed. Attendees learned what boards need to know to exercise the necessary level of care and prudence to ensure proper governance of physician compensation arrangements and alignment strategies.
