As the health care industry continues to adapt to new payment and care delivery models, recruiting and retaining executives and providers is now more challenging than ever and requires renewed alignment between business strategies and compensation approaches.

  • Increased pressure on all employees to improve efficiency, enhance outcomes and create a more valuable patient experience.
  • Evolving reimbursement environment resulting in greater uncertainty and increased need to manage risk.
  • Skillset required to lead organizations differ depending on size.
  • Providers adapting to team-based models of care.
  • Growing demand for advanced practice providers (APP) and effective utilization.
  • Increased regulatory activity surrounding physician compensation.
  • Challenges understanding compensation and workforce issues related to physician leaders.
