CANCELED: 2020 Foundation HR Alliance Summit

April 29, 2020 - May 1, 2020

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, SullivanCotter has decided to cancel the upcoming 2020 Foundation HR Alliance Summit in San Francisco. A number of organizations have imposed restrictions on non-essential travel, and we hope our decision to cancel the event will help to ensure that as many members as possible will be able to participate at a future date.

We are actively working through our options at the moment and will discuss with our Steering Committee in the coming weeks to understand their preferences on postponing to later in 2020, deferring the event entirely to 2021, and/or considering additional ideas for this year such as virtual learning.

Please join us for the 2020 Foundation HR Alliance Summit, where human resources leaders from foundations across the country come together to network, learn and share best practices.

This year, the Summit will include sessions on building an inclusive culture, effective recruiting in philanthropy, innovations in technology to help drive HR functions, encouraging healthy turnover, pay equity, and leading through personal challenges.

New for 2020!

We will be hosting an optional pre-Summit discussion on Wednesday, April 29 for those who are interested in learning more about internal investment functions in philanthropy. We will cover typical staffing structures, compensation and other people-related topics with the objective of ensuring attendees are armed with the best and most current information for this unique and ever-changing talent market. SullivanCotter will lead this session.
