Julie Peak is Executive Workforce Chief of Staff at SullivanCotter. With over 15 years in consulting, Julie provides expertise and insights on total rewards for executives. She has extensive experience partnering with health care organizations to align rewards and performance with their missions, financial goals, strategies and regulatory rules.
Julie serves as the strategic advisor to numerous pediatric institutions, academic medical centers, integrated health systems and community hospitals.
Julie’s experience includes:

  • Developing compensation philosophies, executive total reward programs and leader performance metrics that work together to complement organizations’ current and future strategies and to better compete for key talent.
  • Leading total compensation assessments and evaluations to determine reasonableness, competitiveness and alignment with organizations’ missions and strategic objectives.
  • Using customized peer groups and analytics to help health care organizations recruit and retain top talent for both the traditional and emerging leadership roles required in the competitive market and innovative care models.
  • Working with organizations to examine and rethink how to identify and select short- and long-term incentive goals using custom peer groups and performance benchmarking databases that results in both achievable and stretch goals.
  • Developing CEO employment agreements, performance evaluation and succession planning to ensure leadership continuity and stability in an unstable environment.
  • Working with boards and compensation committees to develop executive compensation decision-making processes and governance procedures that are in compliance with IRS Intermediate Sanctions legislation.

Previously, Julie provided compensation analysis and advice for employers in a variety of industries while at a global human resources consulting firm.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
