Tim Stamper is a Principal at SullivanCotter.

Tim works with clients in the health care industry, with emphasis in physician compensation matters including competitive pay assessments, evaluation and redesign of compensation programs, fair market value reviews and guidance related to market best practices.

Recent projects have included the following:

  • Designing physician total compensation programs for health care clients in order to link compensation with business strategies and promote pay-for-performance culture.
  • Preparing formal opinion letters regarding the fair market value and commercial reasonableness of compensation provided to employed and contractor physicians of not-for-profit 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) organizations.
  • Conducting competitive market compensation and productivity assessments for employed physicians.
  • Identifying and defining organization and individual performance measures and criteria for incentive and performance management programs.
  • Serving as an interim physician compensation lead at a large health care system to assist with process improvement related to the compensation decision making process, contracting issues and pay programs.

A graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Tim has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. Tim joined SullivanCotter in 2010 from Michigan Surgical Products, where he served as a sales consultant in the orthopedics service line.
