With more than 35 years of working in the health care industry, Robert brings extensive leadership experience with a concentration on business growth, strategic planning, and operational excellence. He focuses on developing new and existing business segments.
Robert’s consulting experience includes the following:
- Working with hospitals and physician groups to facilitate sustainable physician-hospital affiliation and integration, including joint ventures.
- Designing and implementing provider workforce planning to drive physician enterprises’ strategic and financial performance.
- Evaluating and aligning strategic plans, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for growth and increased value to meet emerging market needs.
- Revitalizing continuity of care through key stakeholder activation and engagement to improve population health and grow community benefit.
- Developing ambulatory strategy through market and competitive analyses, network development, operational and experiential planning, facilities programming and master planning.
- Developing analytics for market attractiveness modeling, informing Medicare Advantage strategy, physician supply and demand and service line development to expedite market planning and deployment.
Before joining the firm, Robert held several executive leadership roles with health care providers and consultants. He served as Chief Strategy Officer, Clinical and Network Services for Ascension Health in St. Louis, Missouri, Senior Vice President for ERDMAN health care advisory services, and Director at Navigant Consulting.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II from the University of Texas at Austin. He has authored several published health care thought leadership articles.
