Robert Doyle

Principal

Robert Doyle is a Principal at SullivanCotter in the Executive Workforce Practice. With over 15 years of executive compensation consulting experience, Robert has advised health care organizations located nationally. His clients include academic medical centers, multi-location health systems, community-based hospitals, and integrated health systems.

Robert’s professional experience includes:

  • Analyzing and evaluating executive compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and reasonableness.
  • Advising clients on executive total compensation philosophy and strategy, peer group review and development, annual and long-term incentive program design, retention program and strategy, governance and board of director compensation.
  • Working with boards, committees and management on executive governance and providing education on trends, new processes and regulations affecting executive compensation to assist an organization in effectively managing its fiduciary responsibility.
  • Preparing formal opinion letters regarding the reasonableness of compensation provided to disqualified persons of not-for-profit 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) organizations.
  • Assisting health systems with navigating change during M&A transactions, while creating consolidated compensation programs, policies and practices that support future consistency, increased services, new care specialties and increased spans of control.
  • Research and documentation on executive compensation trends.

Prior to joining the firm, Robert served as a Consultant for Compensation Strategies, Inc., where he focused on executive and board compensation at public for-profit organizations.

Robert has a Bachelor of Arts in economics and physics from the University of Chicago. He also has a Masters of Business Administration in strategy and leadership development from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
