Nicole Gruszka is a Principal at SullivanCotter. Prior to joining SullivanCotter, she was the Senior Financial Analyst at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. She also held positions as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for Centier Bank and as an Associate Consultant for Towers Watson, where she focused heavily on pension benefits analytics and participant communications.
With over 20 years of analytical and technical experience, Nicole’s areas of expertise include the following:
- Providing guidance and recommendations to senior management, committees and boards regarding structure, design, performance and regulatory implications of compensation decisions.
- Facilitating discussions to gain insight into current business objectives, strategies, and challenges organizations face.
- Managing compensation engagements, including developing work plans, delegating activities, and reviewing analyses and deliverables for accuracy, quality and appropriateness while closing and monitoring budgets and timelines.
- Analyzing and evaluating executive compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and reasonableness.
- Developing CEO employment agreements, performance evaluations, and succession planning to ensure leadership continuity and stability.
- Creating communications and education outlining total compensation programs, components, and their application.
Nicole graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, with a minor concentration in business administration.
