Misty Gaeke is a Principal in SullivanCotter’s Employee Workforce Practice. Having spent more than 20 years working in broad-based employee total rewards across a variety of industries, Misty leverages her extensive experience in health care and beyond to provide guidance on innovative compensation and benefits strategies to assist hospitals, health systems and medical groups in navigating the rapidly changing environment.
As a trusted strategic compensation leader, she specializes in helping organizations to modernize, automate and implement key workforce structures and programs such as salary design, incentives, career architecture, job analysis and evaluation, pay equity and more.
Misty’s experience includes:
- Managing base pay, incentive-based compensation programs and benefits for large and complex national organizations with the aim of aligning total rewards programs more closely with key organizational objectives
- Improving HR practices and delivery models through the implementation of technology-driven solutions such as Workday, PeopleSoft, MarketPay, Taleo and more
- Collaborating with clients and HR business partners to identify new strategies and solutions to enhance workforce performance, internal processes, and operational efficiency
- Leading comprehensive market and job family assessments to assist with the development of an organization-wide compensation framework, job architecture and more
- Assisting organizations with the management of a variety of workforce issues, including governance, operational due diligence, resource planning and recruitment, as well as onboarding and retention strategies
Misty is a certified as a Senior HR Professional through both the Society for Human Resources Management and the HR Certification Institute.
Prior to joining SullivanCotter, Misty spent a number of years leading compensation, benefits and HRIS strategies within a large academic medical center. She most recently served as the Compensation Director for Petco where she was responsible for managing total rewards programs for more than 26,000 employees.
