Chief Marketing Officer

Tim Goertel is the Chief Marketing Officer for SCH Services. As a strategic marketing professional with nearly 25 years of experience in developing compelling customer experiences, Tim works cross-functionally with our consulting practices and product teams to ensure our clients receive best-in-class advisory services, technology solutions, and workforce compensation and performance data.

With a critical focus on enhancing client acquisition, retention and advocacy, Tim specializes in initiatives designed to drive brand engagement, increase client satisfaction, reinforce our longstanding industry expertise, and provide organizations with experiential learning opportunities to stay up to date on emerging trends and practices.

His experience includes:

  • Overseeing content strategy, thought leadership development and educational programs to support ongoing client engagement and enhance communication with prospects.
  • Executing large-scale quantitative and qualitative research projects related to technology utilization, customer satisfaction and experience, market opportunity and more to help identify customer needs, develop marketing messaging and inform strategic planning.
  • Developing go-to-market strategies and communications for innovative products and services designed to address increasingly dynamic client challenges and needs in an evolving marketplace.
  • Leading customer experience assessments and developing tools/resources – including ‘voice of the customer’ research, customer journey mapping, training content and more – to promote an organization-wide focus on client centricity.
  • Establishing global market research process guidelines, survey templates, and analysis standards used to measure customer satisfaction, assess business performance, understand brand perceptions, and profile clients and prospects.

Prior to joining SullivanCotter, Tim served as Managing Vice President of Experiential Marketing at Gartner where he led the transformation of a number of critical high-touch marketing programs.

Tim received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota.
