Maryann Wolf is a Principal in the Physician Workforce Practice of SullivanCotter. With over 25 years of health care experience, Maryann develops growth strategies for organizations in the rapidly changing health care environment. She helps define the optimal scale and scope of provider programs, guides major network investments and leads community provider needs assessments.
At SullivanCotter, Maryann is responsible for overseeing the firm’s proprietary physician affiliation and needs assessment tool. She is also curating a robust database of real utilization and demographic data for modeling network and physician organization strategies for all types of health care organizations in urban, suburban and rural markets.
Her experience includes:
- Developing service lines and institutions of care by specialization to help health care organizations align their provider strategies with their markets’ needs.
- Supporting community recruitment, contract negotiation and integration of physicians into growing and evolving health care organizations to help facilitate organizational growth initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Leading quantitative and qualitative strategic reviews related to physician affiliation, design of delivery-type mix (i.e., clinic, telehealth, virtual care, retail, surgery center, etc.) and expanded APP utilization.
- Conducting business appraisals to help health care systems and provider organizations launch new businesses, as well as evaluate, purchase and integrate mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining SullivanCotter, Maryann held a number of leadership positions at Tenet Healthcare Corporation and in two consulting firms, including a national boutique advisory group she founded.
Maryann earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and language from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. She also has a Master of Business Administration, specializing in management information systems, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Maryann is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
