PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role leads the custom survey business and serves as the project manager throughout all phases of the process. Actively seeks out new business opportunities and demonstrates the ability to generate leads, develop a pipeline and execute RFPs. Oversees and provides input into the entire survey implementation process from questionnaire design to report delivery. Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external clients and keeps them informed throughout various stages of the survey project.

Specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the Director of Business Operations, include:

  • Lead the custom survey business and serve as the project manager throughout all phases of the process.
  • Actively seeks new business opportunities and is responsible for new business generation.
  • Ability to generate leads, develop a robust pipeline and negotiate contracts exceeding agreed-upon quota.
  • Oversee and provide input into questionnaire development and design, data collection, cleaning, analysis and reporting.
  • Manage report production, including layout, table and graph generation, writing, proofing and editing.
  • Act as a client liaison, including building client relationships through serving as a critical point person for questions about survey data, process, assistance with submissions, etc. and being proactive in anticipating client needs and questions.
  • Test survey programming, monitor participation and reporting for custom surveys in Qualtrics.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consulting practice members to collaborate on survey design, content and reporting to ensure deliverables meet the needs of consultants, participants and clients.
  • Contribute to articles and marketing materials for client and prospect distribution and posting to the SullivanCotter website through detailed research of our various data assets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies with day-to-day survey operations by leveraging software and programming solutions.
  • Own the delivery process for projects initiated by the business stakeholders from intake through delivery.
  • Keep internal and external business stakeholders well informed of the health and progress of survey projects and deliver regular status reporting to business stakeholders.
  • Develop and propose risk mitigation plans to ensure projects are complete on time, on budget and with high quality.
  • Develop and recommend solutions that improve or enhance surveys, balancing business requirements with the drive for standardization and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, specifically strong collaboration with SullivanCotter health consultants to develop a single face with SullivanCotter clients to provide valuable solutions to meet their needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
  • MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in statistical research and data analysis with demonstrable analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Basic programming experience, including Alteryx, VBA, SQL, Python or R, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.
