PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enterprise-level knowledge of physician compensation (plan design/understanding of impact of design, best practices).
  • Operational knowledge of executing and managing a physician compensation plan.
  • Be able to translate a compensation design into the parameters of the performance management tool.
  • Ability to be professional and effective while working with internal consulting and operational partners to collectively provide the best solution for our clients.
  • Successfully work through the prospecting phase of bringing in a new client (fact gathering, demo, proposal, statement of work, client transition to implementation team).
  • Ability to effectively facilitate client group discussions (e.g. focus groups).
  • Flexibility to travel ~10-20% of their time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting, or healthcare administration.
  • Experience working within a consulting, compensation, or healthcare-related firm is preferred.
  • Effective consulting skills in working with external clients to understand their needs and the value proposition Provider Performance Management Team (PPMT) offers them (value-based consultative advisory services).
  • Ability to look for creative ways to develop solutions that fit the client’s need and can be supported by the operation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
