Reporting to the CIO, this position will be a member of a new, high-growth heath care technology business that ensures all of the firm’s major initiatives are planned, approved and implemented to meet the organization’s goals and business strategies. This role ensures resources and processes are in place to deliver projects using an adaptive and Agile delivery framework. Besides ensuring successful delivery, this role will own the evolution of project, Agile, budgeting and planning processes.

In addition to leading the Program Management Office, this role will define, lead and drive the product management processes and roles for the organization. The role will drive processes such as roadmaps, go-to-market strategies and revenue plans for several new market-facing products.

Leading and expanding the existing team of scrum masters, project managers and product managers is critical to the organization’s success. The best candidate for this position would be someone interested in a start-up environment that can drive, define and own product and project processes across the organization. An experienced, collaborative individual that can adapt, lead and deliver in a matrixed and high-growth technology environment is an ideal candidate for this role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • The program director must have strong practical experience in project management and Agile methodologies which was gained through managing large and complex projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant degree program is required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive managerial experience.
  • Experience in application development life cycle.
  • Experience with go-to-market strategies for technology products.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in complex project and change management.
