PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Reporting Data Analyst sits within the Technology and Research business unit within SullivanCotter and is located in the Minneapolis office. This role will focus on the reporting process from the WI360 product which includes close collaboration with our consulting practice.
Specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the Sr Manager, Data/Reporting Analytics include:


  • Providing input into business requirements for reporting tools and processes. Responsible for data validation, analysis and reporting.
  • Report production including layout, table and graph generation, writing, proofing and editing. Maintaining and updating reporting tools and templates as needed.
  • Serve as contact for clients and consultants on questions about the report and methodology.
  • Serve as internal contact for ad hoc and custom analysis from WI360 reporting database. Assist with the development of new analysis and reports, as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with consulting practice members to collaborate on report design and content to ensure deliverables meet the market needs.
  • Serve as the liaison to technology team and product owners to ensure seamless delivery of reports through SullivanCotter’s proprietary products.
  • Collaborate with marketing on articles and materials for client and prospect distribution as well as for posting to the SullivanCotter Website through detailed research of WI360 data.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiencies with day-to-day survey operations by leveraging software and programming solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS, with emphasis in statistics, mathematics or computer science. MBA or master’s degree in relevant areas is a plus.
  • Requires 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of statistical research and data analysis with demonstrable analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tableau. Basic programming experience in Alteryx, VBA, SQL, Python or R is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.
