PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Manager II sits within the Technology and Research business unit within SullivanCotter and is located in the Minneapolis office. In this role, you will perform post-sale product configuration as part of completing implementations. In addition, you will consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, business objectives and goals and translate those into product build. This role is not tied to a sales incentive plan based on individual and/or team results. Career-development professional within the field.

  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
  • Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation projects and ongoing client support.
  • Will consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs and to understand clients’ business objectives and goals.
  • Possess and maintain a high level of industry-specific business knowledge by remaining current with emerging products and technical updates.
  • Translate client business requirements into product rules.
  • Build client reference tables.
  • Train clients on product functionality.
  • Validate / test product UI and data calculations.
  • Provide client support.
  • Participate in product and report releases.
  • Position requires on-call and some weekend and after-hours commitment.
  • Keep business stakeholders well informed of the health and progress of projects and deliver regular status reporting to business stakeholders.
  • Develop and propose risk mitigation plans as necessary aimed at ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and with high quality.
  • Ability to lead an agile implementation team.
  • Translate and communicate complex resourcing issues and solutions in a simple, effective way to business stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS within business, operations, marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years related experience in product and implementations and project management.
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of the health-care industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, manage time and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
