Works collaboratively with the Human Resources team and all associates to support the initiatives of SullivanCotter Holdings, Inc. The qualified individual will be responsible for the following:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role will support implementing efficient and effective associate-centered practices and processes in support of improving the associate work experience to potential and existing associates, consistent with SullivanCotter Holding Inc’s values.
  • Coordinate activities to support in-person events for associate connectedness including:
  • Pre-event planning, on-site event coordination, vendor management and post-event reporting.
  • Develop event budgets with oversight by the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Hands-on operational execution with strict adherence to event deadlines; may include on-site event setup and tear-down assistance.
  • Support the development of virtual associate groups to reinforce relationships and alignment with firm values.
  • Assist with various vendor management activities.
  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as presentations, policies and procedures and workforce directories.
  • Provide backup support to other HR Coordinators as needed.
  • Own special projects related to process and improvement as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to lead in a team environment. He/she must be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization, be results-oriented, have strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and be a creative problem solver.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in event planning communication, employee experience or human resources or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to:
  • Write concise communications, documents and presentations with an appropriate level of technical detail and complexity.
  • Solid technical skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Role model problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to:
  • Visualize and articulate a high level of complex problems and concepts, recognize patterns in complex sets of data and develop practical models.
  • Analyze, compile and interpret workforce data.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify alternate solutions and drive the removal of obstacles impeding project or team progress.
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze and resolve complex business and technical problems.
  • Excellent project management, organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
