The Data Quality Analyst I sits within the Technology business unit within SullivanCotter and is located in the Minneapolis office. This position supports SullivanCotter’s Data Clearing House (DCH) long-term incumbent data collection efforts, including the day-to-day operations (data collection, cleaning and reporting) through the technology solution. In addition, the position will assist with the development and implementation of related technology initiatives and continuous improvement. The position will interface with external clients, functional IT teams, internal consultants across practices, and other software delivery team members. This role will assist in the generation of consulting deliverables.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works interdependently with technology partners and internal consultants to ensure successful client implementation and client deliverables based on established targets and goals.
  • Participates in client implementation tasks and partner across practices to facilitate end-to-end implementation activities including data procurement, data validation, data integration, system and report configuration and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate data prior to it being stored for final use by the organization and/or its clients.
  • Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering and entering missing data, and resolving any anomalies.
  • Participates in QA Testing, User Acceptance Testing, internal and external training.
  • Identify areas of improvement in data collection processes or systems and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS, within data analytics, computer programming, statistics or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a corporate compensation function or compensation consulting practice.
  • Familiarity with job evaluations, salary surveys, market pricing and salary range analysis.
  • Ability to clean and process data into the system with adequate speed and accuracy and high degree of sensitivity.
  • Experience using Excel and be able to write complex functions such as: pivot tables, lookup formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP), logical formulas (or, if, and, iserror), conditional formatting, and numerous other excel functions.
  • Ability to visualize data to stakeholders in a simple and concise manner through visualization software.
  • Must be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet set deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of HR programs, processes, HR data management, workforce planning and Career Frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Workday, PeopleSoft/Oracle and SAP HRIS systems a plus.
