PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defining and implementing data warehouse and master data management (MDM) solutions.
  • Working with business to analyze system requirements and translating those requirements into secure data solutions.
  • Designing data models.
  • Tuning and debugging existing relational application database implementations.
  • Query, stored procedure and ETL development.
  • Defining and implementing security and backup processes.
  • Defining and owning data governance processes for the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
  • Experience leading a technical data team.
  • Expertise in Microsoft database technologies.
  • Expertise in data modeling, SQL and database structures.
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
  • Experience defining and implementing data warehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Oracle OBIEE, etc).
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ data architect experience working with significant data management responsibilities and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of relational database reporting tools, ODBC connections, SQL and syntax writing are required.
  • Proven experience aggregating multiple disparate datasets and automating reporting and analytics.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery organizations a plus.
  • Big data expertise.
  • Artificial intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive analytics and machine learning in a data environment a plus.
