PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform regular database updates and data quality assurance.
  • Work with development team to produce semi-automated client reports.
  • Coordinate data integration efforts between the Performance Analytics and Advisory Services Growth Team and other workforce practices within SullivanCotter, including Executive, Physician, Advanced Practice Providers and Employee Workforce.
  • Work with PAAS and the Center for Information Analytics and Insights (CIAI) leadership to advance the integration of quality, patient satisfaction and financial data to enhance databases into a consultant-accessible tool.
  • Assist PAAS leadership in providing performance data education and training to associates.
  • Review client-facing reports for technical accuracy, quality, completeness, timeliness and use of appropriate language.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal associates; proactively sharing knowledge, use of tools, processes and methodologies established by the PAAS team.
  • Prioritize work and demonstrate effective management of time to meet project deadlines.
  • Effectively keep PAAS team leadership as well as project managers and client relationship managers apprised of project status, including delays or potential problems.
  • Think outside the box in answering client as well as internal questions including innovative analysis that leverages the data assets of the firm.
  • Demonstrate technical/functional mastery of the skills necessary to effectively complete projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or accounting required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Compensation consulting experience preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Interest in health care specific, professional services industry, career growth required.
  • 1-3 years of experience, including data analysis and financial benchmarking required.
  • Solid work experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
  • Tableau and additional programming experience a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to:
    • Gather, analyze and organize data using a logical and systematic process
    • Ascertain relevant and irrelevant data when conducting analytical work
    • Visualize and articulate problems and concepts in a systematic manner
    • Recognize patterns and issues in sets of data
    • Identify obstacles impeding project progression
  • Strong communication skills required including written, verbal and presentation skills.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report production including writing syntax to generate tables and graphs, proofing and editing.
  • Conducting in-depth data cleaning and analyses using traditional and advanced methods. Running key statistics and analysis as directed by the senior members of the team.
  • Serve as support contact for clients and survey respondents with questions about survey data, process, etc.
  • Assist with the development of new surveys or metrics, testing of SullivanCotter Client Portal, and marketing materials as required.
  • Identifying and defining opportunities for efficiencies in day to day survey operations by leveraging software and programming solutions.
  • Aggregate and transform data to meet the needs of efficient data analysis and reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • BA or BS, with emphasis in statistical research or mathematics.
  • Advanced Excel experience required.
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SPSS. Basic programming experience including VBA, SQL, and Python a plus.
  • Statistical research experience is preferred.
  • Research leveraging survey data is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, manage time and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
